System/Software/Hardware Automotive Quality Assurance internship

You will be working at the Electronics Engineering department of Inalfa Roofsystems under supervision of Quality assurance and process engineer as well as in cooperation with other team members. The Electronics Engineering department is responsible for the development of electro motors, sunroof control units, control software and technologies for future and current production roofsystems at Inalfa Roofsystems for the worldwide automotive market. As a department we are continuously improving our roofsystems, creating new roofsystem designs, and following the latest market trends.

One of the most important components is the SCU, which needs to be developed under the Compliance of ASPICE “ Automotive Software Process Improvement Capability determination” as The automotive industry is getting more and more complex every day. The primary challenge shifted from the mechanical aspect of the car to a more technological approach: the software. ASPICE or Automotive SPICE® is a model “which defines processes and best practices for software and software-based system development, especially for the automotive industry.”.

Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities Are:

  • Understand ASPICE structure and it processes and the Internal development process of IHECU.

  • Support in performing reviews based on the project plan.

  • Shadowing in Internal ASPICE assessments and support as Co-assessor.

  • Monitor Improvement proposal backlog and support in organizing the implementation of these proposals into current process.

  • As part of your final research you are required to prepare a research about how to Implement ASPICE in agile software development.

What Do We Expect from You:

  • You are a Bachelor student Computer Science , Computer Engineering or automotive engineering or similar;

  • Your assignment lasts for a minimum of 4 months;

  • Strong Software engineering technical knowledge, creativity, and strong analytical skills;

  • Strong Knowledge about V-model and different software development life cycles;

  • Good knowledge about Software testing fundamentals(Levels, Types,etc..);

  • Self-structuring and project organization skills;

  • Quick-, self-learning with regards to software programs, theories and products;

  • You are an enthusiastic, creative, pro-active student with good communication skills, also in English or German.

What we offer you:
